British Sign Language (BSL)
For customers who use British Sign Language, you can now contact us using a BSL video interpreter.
We work with InterpretersLive! to provide this service. This follows feedback from our hard-of-hearing and deaf customers who previously found it difficult to contact us.
If you are deaf or hard of hearing, you can click on the InterpretersLive! button below to video call an interpreter now.
You will be connected to a BSL interpreter, who will then call South Staffs Water on your behalf and interpret for you. This should improve the time it takes to communicate with us and for us to help you with any water issues you may have.
None of your personal data or information will be recorded by InterpretersLive! As with our general enquiries line, calls via the InterpretersLive! service may be recorded for monitoring and training purposes.
Priority Services Register (PSR)
If you need a little extra help due to medical, learning, or physical disabilities, let us know by joining our Priority Services Register.
Our Priority Services Register supports customers who need a constant supply of water in the event of an emergency supply interruption as well as customers who need extra help reading or understanding their bill.
It is free to join, and we will do all we can to help you.
