Work will begin on Trident Drive and then move to the remaining streets in the order listed above.
When the work will take place
Work is scheduled to begin on Monday 4th May 2026 and is expected to take approximately ten weeks to complete. Our teams will normally work between 7:30am and 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Occasionally, evening or weekend work may be required to reduce traffic disruption.
Traffic changes
To complete the work safely, some temporary road closures will be in place on Greenwood Avenue, Mushroom Hall Road, Bright Road, Giles Road, Vicarage Street and Hall Street. Road closures will commence from the 11th May 2026 and be relocated as we move through and complete each street. Clearly signed diversion routes will be in place where necessary.
