We will be replacing existing water mains with a new, high-performance plastic water mains to ensure quality and reliable water supply.

When will the work take place?
Work is scheduled to begin on Saturday 24th October 2026 and is expected to take approximately six weeks to complete. Our teams will normally work between 7:30am and 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Occasionally, evening or weekend work may be required to reduce traffic disruption.
To complete the work safely, the following traffic management will be in place:
Saturday 24th October to Sunday 1st November 2026, traffic signals will be in place on Trinity Road South, at the junction with Glover Street and Constance Avenue, with no access onto Trinty Way as this junction will be closed.
Monday 02nd November to Sunday 15th November 2026, traffic signals will then be relocated south of the Trinity Way junction on Glover Street.
Clearly signed diversion routes will be in place where necessary.
