We will be replacing an existing water main with a new, high-performance plastic water main to maintain a reliable water supply.

When will the work take place? 

Work will take place on Linton Heath, from the junction for the A444, to the junction for Main Street, from Monday 5 January 2026, for 10 weeks. 

Changes to traffic

To complete the work as safely and efficiently as possible, we will be closing Linton Heath from 5 January to 15 March 2026. 

A suitable diversion route will be in place via the A444 High Cross, Linton Road, Hillside Road and Main Street. 

Access to frontages will always be maintained throughout the duration of the works. If, for any reason, we need to restrict access, we will speak to you in advance.
