We will be replacing the existing water mains and renewing service pipes that lead up to the boundaries of properties on the following roads:
When will the work take place?
Work will start on Monday 10 November - for a period of six weeks.
Our team will be working between the hours of 7:30 and 17:30 on weekdays. Weekend and overnight work may be required to limit traffic disruption on occasion.
Will traffic be affected?
To complete the work as safely and efficiently as possible, we will be required to close Loxley Lane. A suitable diversion route will be put in place via Stafford Road, the B5013 and Quee Lane.
Once work is complete on Loxley Lane, the road closure will be removed and will be replaced by three-way lights on Loxley Lane, Uttoxeter Road and Quee Lane.
At the same time, a road closure will be put in place on Holly Lane with a diversion route via Holly Lane, the B5013 and Uttoxeter Road.
Access to frontages will be maintained throughout the duration of the works.
