We will soon be carrying out essential work to replace ageing water mains in your area. This will help reduce leaks and provide a more reliable water supply for the future.
Where we will be working
The work will take place on Northway, starting at the junction of Alderwood precinct and working Southwards towards Greenacres. Works will continue on Northway towards Gospel End Road until completion.
When the work will take place
Work is scheduled to begin on 12th October 2026 and will continue for approximately eight weeks, with work expected to complete on 4th December. Our teams will normally work between 7:30am and 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Occasionally, evening or weekend work may be required to reduce traffic disruption.
Traffic changes
To complete the work safely, 2-way, 3-way and 4-way lights will be in use throughout the duration of the works at different points when necessary.
Access to frontages will always be maintained throughout the duration of the works. If, for any reason, we need to restrict access, we will speak to you in advance.
