We will be carrying out essential work to replace ageing water mains on Stanley Road and Lodge Road, Wednesbury. These improvements are part of our ongoing investment to replace older water pipes, reduce the risk of leaks and provide a more reliable water supply for the future.

Work will begin on Stanley Road and then move onto Lodge Road.
When the work will take place
Work is scheduled to begin on Monday 29 June 2026 and is expected to take approximately four weeks to complete. Our teams will normally work between 7:30am and 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Occasionally, evening or weekend work may be required to reduce traffic disruption.
Traffic changes
To complete the work safely, some temporary traffic management will be required. Road closures will be in place on Stanley Road and Lodge Road. These will commence from 29 June and be relocated as we move through and complete each street.
Clearly signed diversion routes will be in place where necessary.
Access to frontages will always be maintained throughout the duration of the works. If, for any reason, we need to restrict access, we will speak to you in advance.
