West Midlands Fire and Rescue Service will be teaming up with South Staffs Water on Sunday 5^th February for a training exercise to test their response to an emergency.

The mocked-up scene will involve Fire and Rescue services battling fake smoke deployed into workshops on site in order to find casualties.

This pre-planned event will see up to 15 fire engines and a number of ambulances at the site on Green Lane, Walsall between 9am – 3pm. Local residents and other passers-by should be reassured that it is not an actual emergency.
