On 18 July 2019, the regulator Ofwat published its draft decision (or ‘draft determination’) on our business plan for 2020 to 2025. We submitted our response (or ‘representation’) to Ofwat on 30 August 2019.

Ofwat’s draft determination was challenging. We pushed back in a number of areas to ensure we deliver the best plan both for you and for our business.

We were also clear about where we disagreed with how the regulator had implemented its policies or its assessment of our business plan proposals.

Ofwat made its final decision on our five-year plan on 16 December 2019.
