You will receive a text from South Staffs Water to let you know when will be out to survey your property.

We will survey your property. We'll assess whether you can have a meter installed and where it should be installed. 

If your meter will be fitted outside

We will be in touch with an appointment date.

Our digging team will arrive at your property to fit your meter. They will dig a hole near your stop tap, then fit the meter. 

In the coming days, we will return to fill the hole.

If your meter will be fitted inside

We will be in touch with an internal survey date. 

Our team will arrive to complete an internal survey.

Our team will be in touch before we arrive to fit your meter. 

Once completed, you will be charged on a metered charge from the date that your meter was fitted.
