The Board is delighted to announce that Liz Swarbrick has been appointed as Managing Director of South Staffs Water with immediate effect.

Liz has been Interim Managing Director of South Staffs Water since 1 November 2010 following the retirement of Jack Carnell. She has been a director of the Company since July 1997 and was the Asset Management Director, having previously been responsible for Quality, Planning and Regulation. Liz has over 20 years experience in the water industry and has represented the Company and the industry on a number of industry groups, some of which she has chaired. Liz is a past President of the Midlands area of the Institute of Water Officers.
