South Staffs Water supports World Environment Day

9 June 2014

Staff from South Staffs Water were out and about in Walsall town centre this week for World Environment Day, to offer advice to customers on how they can cut down their water use.

The event was organised by Walsall Council, with West Midlands Police also taking part. South Staffs Water employees gave out free water saving devices and chatted to passers-by about the benefits of having a water meter fitted.

Senior Water Delivered Analyst for SSW, Steve Colella said: "Water is a precious resource, so World Environment Day was a great chance to get out and talk to customers. We had a very positive response from the people we talked to who now have devices for their home that will make a big difference to the amount of water they use."
